Sundays, Survey, Spaciousness
Coming back from a Spring Pause in the mountains, I’m holding onto the energy and inspiration that comes from stillness, nature, and reflection. I wanted to share a little of that with you.
Grounding
Every week, I carve out 45 minutes for “Flow & Go” at The Fitness Collective ATL. It’s a yoga class, yes—but for me, it’s also a reset button. A pause between the constant rhythm of coaching calls, proposals, discovery sessions, mom-ing, wife-ing, and community building.
I’ve been showing up for the mental clarity. The stillness. The breath.
But a few weeks ago, I got a surprising reminder of just how much physical growth had taken place, too. We were in this pretzel-like pose—one that used to be a real struggle. Back in February, I needed straps just to make the connection. But this time? I was fully in it. Unassisted.
The instructor paused mid-pose, looked at me, and said: “Look at you, Elandria—you don’t need the straps!” I hadn’t even noticed.
That moment reminded me of what so many of us experience as leaders, entrepreneurs, parents, and visionaries:
We’re being stretched, even when we don’t realize it.
We’re achieving more than we’re giving ourselves credit for.
And sometimes, we just need someone to help us mark the moment.
That’s a huge part of how I support leaders—stretching, reaching, and celebrating. Are there ways you’re being stretched that you haven’t even noticed yet?
Gripping
We’re living in an unprecedented and strange time. There’s no roadmap. And if we’re honest, it’s easy to sink into despair. But I’ve also seen light.
One of my light sources has been witnessing leaders of color experience wins—real wins—in the midst of this incredibly challenging political climate. Some of the victories have been external. A campaign launched. A strategic partnership formed. A values-aligned message that reveals hard truths. But the real wins are about something deeper: alignment, calling, and collective momentum.
I recently read the article and contributed to the blog below, both of which speak powerfully to how we’re being called to show up—in our own leadership, and in deep community—especially in seasons marked by change, chaos, and collapse. What real win can I celebrate with you?

Gifting
I thought my biking days were behind me. For years, my only connection to a bicycle was helping a young child learn to ride, or hopping on a spin bike to raise money for a cause. But recently, that changed. My husband bought bikes for both of us—and a buggy to pull our daughter—so we could ride together as a family. Our son has been confidently rolling since his birthday in October, so now the whole crew is mobile. And just like that, I’m a bike owner again.
What started as a practical purchase has become something much deeper. It’s reframed how I see biking—not just as another way to get around, but as a way to slow down, explore, and create lasting memories with my family. These rides are forming core memories—not just for our children, but for us as parents and partners, too. What’s helping you reframe an old experience in a new light?
Where’s your joy showing up lately? I’d truly love to know. And if there’s a way I can be of service to you or your network, please reach out. Let’s keep building, together.
Joyfully,
Elandria
